Meetings:
Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 9:30 am and 7:00 pm, except July and August.
Visitors are welcome at our meetings in Sep to Nov and Jan to May. Dec and Jun are usually members only.

An organization promoting quilting, that holds, workshops, guest speakers, and demonstrations monthly. A quilt show is put on every second year, as well as smaller fairs and community events throughout the year. The group also makes and donates approximately five-hundred quilts a year to the Children's Hospital for all "premmie" babies.

The Horticultural Society holds monthly meetings (except January), a Spring plant sale, an annual picnic, a Christmas dinner and a variety of other events. In October they hold a silent auction and in December there is a year-end social event and awards night. From April to September members are able to participate in the Parlour Show, where they are awarded points which determine the yearly winners.

They also help support college and university horticultural students, through the BC Council of Garden Clubs bursaries and scholarships.

The society aims to encourage interest in the Calligraphic Arts. During meetings guest speakers often discuss the history and origin of different forms of handwriting.
